Job summary

ARM is seeking experienced Solar Electricians to join our renewable energy team delivering residential installations across London, Essex and Suffolk, with occasional work in Cambridgeshire and Norfolk.

You will install and commission Solar PV systems, Battery Storage, and EV charging points on private homes and Housing Association contracts. NVQ 2 in Electrical Installation and 18th Edition are required; a full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Electrical Installation or higher.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Experience installing Solar PV systems.
• Experience with battery storage and EV charger installations is highly desirable.
• ECS/CSCS Card preferred.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willing to travel across London, Essex, Suffolk and occasionally Cambridgeshire and Norfolk.

Solar Electrician / Solar PV Electrician

Essex | London | Suffolk | Permanent or Self-Employed

We're looking for experienced Solar Electricians / Solar PV Electricians to join a growing renewable energy contractor delivering residential renewable energy installations across London, Essex and Suffolk, with occasional work in Cambridgeshire and Norfolk.

Whether you're looking for a permanent PAYE role or prefer to work self-employed, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

You'll be responsible for the installation and commissioning of:

• Solar PV systems
• Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
• EV Charging Points

The majority of work is on private residential properties, alongside Housing Association and Council contracts, with an excellent pipeline of work across the region.

We're Looking For
