Job summary

Line Up Aviation is seeking a Security Vetting Support Officer for an initial 12-month contract. The role is hybrid, with 2 days in the office and 3 days from home, in Bolton or Stevenage. You will assist with security clearances, liaise with UKSV, and support the Vetting Strategy to reduce risk to the organisation.

The ideal candidate has BPSS/UKSV vetting experience, strong IT skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Salary is £26.85 per hour via Umbrella – inside IR35.

Qualifications

• Experience of HMG BPSS and UKSV vetting processes.
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work under pressure and prioritise work.

Responsibilities

• Support Recruitment in obtaining security clearances and checks for all new employees.
• Manage confidential and complex vetting enquiries.
• Be point of contact for vetting issues/problems.
• Liaise with UKSV and other external agencies when appropriate.
• Work with external IT platform to obtain and update security clearances.
• Provide support to areas of Security Services.
• Lead on departmental projects to meet deadlines.
• Assist the Personnel Security Manager in implementing the Vetting Strategy.
