Job summary

Arcadis is expanding its Vetting team and seeking a Vetting Officer for NSV, BPSS and aftercare support. The role is predominantly admin-focused, coordinating vetting processes, handling sensitive information, and supporting colleagues, candidates and client vetting teams through the clearance process.

The position is ideally based from the Watford office with hybrid working. Candidates must be eligible for UK National Security Vetting clearance and able to work across multiple projects

Qualifications

• Experience in vetting, screening, compliance, security administration or similar role.
• Knowledge of National Security Vetting (NSV) and/or BPSS processes.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Experience handling confidential and sensitive information.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key point of contact for vetting enquiries from employees, managers, candidates and client vetting teams.
• Administer National Security Vetting applications, transfers, shares, cancellations and clearance aftercare through the UKSV portal.
• Assess eligibility for security clearance applications and identify missing information.
• Deliver BPSS screening, including new applications and client-led renewals.
• Review applications and documentation, identify gaps and obtain outstanding information from candidates.
• Maintain accurate vetting records, databases and SharePoint sites.
• Process and securely handle highly sensitive personal data in line with security requirements.
• Manage the Arcadis Vetting shared mailbox and respond to enquiries promptly.
• Identify and elevate complex cases, potential risks and eligibility concerns to the Personnel Security Manager.
• Support compliance with UK legislation, GovS 007 and client security requirements.
