Job summary

PA Consulting's Security Vetting Team in Melbourn is seeking a dedicated administrator who will support vetting, compliance and IT security activities across the business. This role involves working with external government agencies, clients and third-party organisations to ensure smooth operational processes.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, organised, and possess strong communication and reporting skills, with a preference for those who can obtain UK security clearance.

• Maintain discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
• Prepare and present routine reports using Microsoft Office tools.

The PA Security Vetting Team is looking to find a new administrator to have responsibility for our Melbourn operations. You will be part of a close and efficient team helping to support a vast array of projects, and working across the business to support vetting, compliance, and IT security activities. This role will have a specific focus on working with a variety of external government agencies, clients and third-party organisations.

What we are looking for

• A highly motivated and customer focused individual
• Organised and able to meet very tight deadlines & respond quickly to critical situations
• Excellent communication skills, and be able to deal with individuals at all levels
• An ability to work independently
• Good reporting skills with experience of working with Microsoft products (Word, Excel)
• Able to demonstrate tact, and maintain complete discretion
• To hold a security clearance or the ability to hold clearance is preferred.

This role will require 5 days a week in the office in our Global Innovation and Technology Centre, Back Lane, Melbourn, Hertfordshire, SG8 6DP

This role is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract

All PA people are required to undergo background checks and to achieve the Baseline Personnel Security Standard however, some UK roles also require higher levels of National Security Vetting, where applicants must have at least 5 years of continuous residency in the UK.
