Job summary

You will mentor engineers, shape strategy, leverage AI and data sources, and collaborate with partner teams to improve tools while aligning efforts across the security tooling program.

Qualifications

• Prior management experience.
• Strong software engineering background in systems, backend or distributed platforms.
• Proven track record in Go development and architecture.
• Solid grasp of Linux and networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of engineers, including performance reviews and career development
• Drive strategic direction of the tooling and detection creation processes.
• Build capabilities leveraging AI and data sources within Apple to improve the quality of scanning
• Build collaborative relationships with partner teams to deliver improvements and enhancements to the tools based on deep understanding of their business needs and requirements
• Align approaches across our tooling to provide an improved consolidated experience.
