Job summary

identifi Global Resources in Milton Keynes is seeking an experienced security testing leader to own and mature a security testing programme. You will define testing scope, engage third-party providers, and drive remediation across applications, cloud and infrastructure.

This role focuses on strategy, governance and vulnerability management while staying close to SSDLC processes. The hybrid role offers up to 2 days in the office and a path to mature the organisation's security testing

Qualifications

• Strong cyber security experience across testing, security engineering, app security or vulnerability management.
• Experience coordinating penetration testing activities with third parties.
• Ability to interpret and challenge penetration testing findings.
• Experience driving remediation across technical teams.
• Understanding of vulnerability management processes.
• Ability to communicate complex risks to non-technical audiences.
• Experience working with multiple technology stakeholders.
• Cloud security testing exposure (Azure).
• Knowledge of SSDLC, SAST and DAST processes.
• Security certifications such as OSCP, CEH, CISSP, CREST or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the organisation's security testing programme.
• Scope, coordinate and oversee penetration testing across applications, infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Manage relationships with specialist third-party penetration testing providers.
• Review findings and drive remediation with technical teams.
• Validate remediation activities and provide technical challenge where required.
• Integrate security testing into the SSDLC.
• Oversee vulnerability assessment and scanning programmes.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams.
• Identify opportunities to expand testing coverage across critical systems.
• Mentor colleagues and improve security understanding across the function.
