Job summary

Allwyn UK is seeking a hands-on security tester to cover applications, cloud platforms, and infrastructure. You will enhance testing coverage across web apps, APIs, and cloud workloads while supporting remediation and retesting.

Ideal candidates will have experience with OWASP Top 10, AWS/Azure, and a background in regulated or high-availability environments. The role involves collaborating with engineering and platform teams to fix findings and strengthen security controls.

Qualifications

• Hands-on security testing across app, cloud, infra or network environments.
• Knowledge of web API security and common backend-service weaknesses.
• Experience with AWS and Azure configuration and access-control risks.
• Experience in regulated, high-availability or transaction-critical environments.
• Familiarity with OWASP ASVS, CWE and secure coding guidance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver security testing across web apps, REST APIs, backend and cloud workloads.
• Support testing of AWS/Azure environments and baseline cloud security.
• Investigate findings, validate issues and advise remediation.
• Support security incidents with testing input and retesting.
• Produce clear, actionable findings and tracking for closure.
