Job summary

Protec Security has an opportunity for an experienced Security Systems Engineer in the Midlands to commission, install, service and maintain Intruder, CCTV and Access Control systems. The ideal candidate will be experienced in IP security systems and Large Scale Integrated Projects.

This permanent role in Birmingham offers progression, a company vehicle, CPD training and a comprehensive benefits package including pension and death in service insurance.

Qualifications

• Experience in commissioning, installation, servicing and reactive maintenance of intruder, CCTV and access control systems.

Responsibilities

• Commission and install intruder, CCTV and access control systems on-site.
• Perform regular servicing and reactive maintenance for clients.
• Work on large-scale integrated security projects in the Midlands.

Job description

Protec Security have an opportunity for an experienced Security Systems Engineer, in The Midlands area, to carry out the commissioning, installation, regular servicing and reactive maintenance of our clients Intruder, CCTV, Access Control and associated systems. The ideal candidate will be experienced in IP Security Systems and Large Scale Integrated Projects.

What you will receive;

• 40hr week (£28,600 – £39,100), in addition;
• Travel time paid after first 15mins
• Overtime: Weekdays x1.5 paid after 8hrs (including travel, minus first 15mins)
• Overtime: Saturday x1.5 to x2.0
• Overtime: Sunday/BH/Nights x2.0
• On-call overtime
• 32 days holiday allowance, plus additional days after 2 years service
• Company vehicle incl. fuel card
• CPD training (both in house & external training modules)
