Security System Engineer Key Responsibilities:

- Install and commission ANPR systems according to recognized standards and company procedures, providing post-installation customer technical support.
- Install and commission Automated Parking Barriers following BS EN safety standards and company procedures, with post-installation support.
- Service Automated Parking Barriers adhering to safety standards and procedures.
- Install, commission, and maintain self-service payment systems, providing customer support as needed.
- Install, commission, and maintain CCTV systems from various manufacturers, offering technical support for issues.
- Maintain and repair legacy CCTV systems from different manufacturers.
- Install, commission, and maintain IT Networking equipment supporting security systems.
- Install, terminate, and test copper and fibre network cabling per manufacturer specifications.
- Install, commission, and maintain access control and intercom systems.
- Distribute Body Worn Video cameras and train users on their operation.
- Provide out-of-hours technical support for all installed and maintained systems.
- Install and maintain signage at customer sites to meet legal and contractual requirements.
- Train customers on the safe and correct use of their systems.
- Accurately record spares and equipment used during visits.
- Maintain vehicle, tools, and equipment to high standards, ensuring stock is rotated and in good condition.
- Ensure transported goods arrive in good condition.
- Report incidents and accidents promptly and accurately.
- Complete all company documentation and return to designated locations promptly.
- Liaise with the Operations Manager on technical issues.
- Support and embrace future technologies, products, and services aligned with company strategy.
**Qualifications and Experience:**
- Current IPAF Certification for types 1B, 3A, and 3B (preferred but not essential).
- Proven industry experience with in-depth knowledge of Security Systems and standards.
- Experience installing, commissioning, and resolving faults in IP & Analogue CCTV Systems; Dahua, Hikvision, iPro.
- Experience with ANPR systems (preferred but not essential).
- Experience with wired and wireless networking equipment installation and troubleshooting.
- Proficient in installing and terminating CAT5e/CAT6 cabling.
- Experience with fibre cabling installation (preferred but not essential).
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Full, clean driving license with willingness for European travel and overnight stays.
- Valid passport for unrestricted European travel (ID Cards not accepted for UK entry).
