Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Design Engineer (Security Systems) to work from home with occasional site visits across the UK, including meetings at the Wolverhampton HQ. The role offers £40,000 - £45,000 plus commission, car allowance, and long-term career prospects.

You'll bridge sales and projects, creating quotations and technical documents for CCTV, IP video systems, and access control projects, with flexibility in working arrangements and strong client exposure.

Qualifications

• Experience with design, costing, estimating and quotations for security projects.
• Knowledge of mechanical/electrical/electronics principles.
• Security systems background required.
• Experience producing high quality technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Produce designs, bids, estimations and quotations with the sales team.
• Create schematic drawings using Microsoft Visio to support proposals.
• Focus on CCTV, IP video systems and Access control.
• Produce cost estimations.
• Home-based role with site visits.
