SER Limited is seeking a UK-based Security Commissioning Engineer to travel nationally and stay away when required. You will commission CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems on major utility projects, ensuring performance and reliable handover.

You’ll work with Gallagher, Galaxy and Axis platforms, troubleshoot issues, and support clients and internal teams. The package includes £40,000–£45,000 DOE, a company van with personal use, fuel card, travel time payment, 25 days plus bank

The Role: Security Commissioning Engineer

As a Security Commissioning Engineer, you'll be the final piece of the puzzle - ensuring systems are fully operational, compliant, and ready for handover on complex, enterprise-level Utility projects across the UK.

This role isn't just about turning systems on - it's about ensuring performance, quality, and reliability on mission-critical sites. You'll work closely with clients, troubleshoot complex systems, and represent the company with pride and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Commission and occasionally install CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems across major utility and infrastructure sites.
• Configure and test systems with a focus on Gallagher, Galaxy, and Axis platforms.
• Identify and resolve issues during the commissioning phase to ensure smooth handover.
• Provide technical support and guidance to both internal teams and clients.
• Build strong client relationships while ensuring project deadlines and quality standards are met.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience commissioning enterprise-level security systems.
• In-depth knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems.
• Familiarity with Gallagher and other top-tier systems is a strong advantage.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel and work away from home when required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Confident communication and a customer-first mindset.
