Role Description

The Security Systems Administrator is part of the corporate security team within a global biopharmaceutical company. The role is responsible for delivering the Technical Security program across international markets, engaging with third-party integrators, supporting implementation, regional maintenance, and troubleshooting. The position can be based in Greater London, UK, or Cork, Ireland.

Responsibilities

1. Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
2. Support deployment and ensure full functionality of security solutions including CCTV and access control systems.
3. Troubleshoot system malfunctions.
4. Develop and maintain preventative maintenance schedules.
5. Participate in project meetings and site reviews.
6. Manage system installations, updates, and upgrades.
7. Communicate with stakeholders including business managers and end users.
8. Track project delivery timelines and mitigate risks.
9. Evaluate and recommend new security technologies.
10. Develop best practices and training materials to optimize system use.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with at least two years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of managed network infrastructure and electrical installation principles.
• Experience with IP-based CCTV and global access control systems like S2, Lenel, or Honeywell (C-Cure preferred).
• Understanding of hardware integration techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Knowledge of security compliance requirements is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; CAD experience is desirable.
• Security or technical certifications are a plus.

Working Conditions

Requires physical and mental capacity to perform essential functions, including exposure to sensitive information, regular computer use, and occasional travel. Must be able to communicate effectively and operate office equipment.
