Security Support Officer

Location: Rolls-Royce, Derby
Pay Rate: £13.12 per hour
Shifts: 12-hour shifts (Days, Nights, Weekends)

We are seeking reliable and professional Security Support Officers to join our Rolls-Royce contract in Derby. Applicants must be fully flexible and able to work 12-hour day and night shifts, including weekends. Please do not apply if you are unable to commit to these shifts.

Key ResponsibilitiesSecurity Operations

• Conduct access control, pass, and parking permit checks.

Training & Development

• Complete all mandatory training and competency assessments.
• Participate in additional training as required.
• Maintain and develop professional knowledge and skills.
• Ensure SIA licences are renewed at least 16 weeks before expiry.

Security, Safety & Incident Management

• Report all Health & Safety concerns and potential hazards immediately.
• Remain vigilant to security threats and operational risks.
• Use initiative and elevate concerns appropriately.
• Maintain professional conduct when dealing with challenging situations.
• Complete accurate incident reports and notebook entries.
• Conduct scheduled check calls as required.
• Notify emergency services and the Communication Centre of incidents when necessary.
