Job summary

Mitie Security Ltd. is seeking an Emergency Response Security Officer to join the Rolls-Royce site in Derby.

The role combines emergency response with security duties and requires you to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights and weekends, averaging 56 hours per week. Applicants must hold a Frontline SIA licence and a full UK driving licence, with the ability to pass security screening and employment history checks.

Responsibilities

• Respond to fire alarms and emergency incidents.
• Attend security incidents and medical emergencies.
• Provide first aid and emergency care until emergency services arrive.
• Carry out routine checks and testing of fire safety and security systems.
• Complete inspections of fire doors, alarms, sprinklers and other safety equipment.
• Test and record site safety systems in line with procedures.
• Carry out daily checks on emergency response vehicles and equipment.
• Report faults, defects or safety concerns.
• Support and promote high standards of security and customer service across the site.

Emergency Response Security Officer

Location: Derby (Rolls-Royce Site) | Company: Mitie Security Ltd | Pay Rate: £13.49 per hour

Mitie Security is looking for Emergency Response Security Officers to join our team at the Rolls-Royce site in Derby.

This is a combined role involving both emergency response and security duties. You must be able to work 12-hour shifts, including days, nights and weekends, averaging 56 hours per week.

Please do not apply if you cannot work both day and night shifts.
