Mitie Group plc. is seeking a Security Officer in Coventry to protect property, people and assets by delivering services in line with site Assignment Instructions and evolving client needs.

You will manage day-to-day security operations, train resident teams, monitor CCTV and access controls, and maintain records while ensuring data protection compliance and high standards of attendance.

Formación

• SIA license is required.
• Excellent verbal and written English.
• Must be computer and software literate.
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work without supervision.
• Strong problem solving and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to motivate staff.
• Tact and diplomacy with people at all levels.
• Commitment to attendance and timekeeping.

Responsabilidades

• Be responsible for day-to-day operation of Security.
• Be the first point of contact for the Security team.
• Assist in ongoing training of resident security teams and inductions.
• Develop teamwork and morale within the workforce.
• Assist in review of Security Officers' performance.
• Assist in security/equipment investigations (thefts, missing items, complaints).
• Provide customer/client liaison as required.
• Ensure Assignment Instructions are adhered to by security and shipping personnel.
• Ensure important messages are conveyed in the Security Handover and read by all personnel.
• Keep security records/logs up to date.
• Ensure compliance with data protection legislation.
