Job summary

MAN Commercial Protection is seeking a Retail Security Supervisor to join the Clacton-on-Sea site. This permanent, full-time role is 41 hours per week, on site.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid SG/DS licence with CCTV where possible, plus a 5-year checkable history and strong communication and admin skills. Uniform provided, double pay on bank holidays, IPSA membership and helplines included.

Qualifications

• SG Licence / DS Licence and CCTV Licence is preferable.
• Full 5-year checkable work / education history.
• Excellent communication and administration skills.

• Excellent punctuality and attendance.
• Must be computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Keep security records up to date and liaise with client operations manager.
• Patrol site, lock/unlock site and monitor CCTV.
• Communicate with site clients.
• Schedule rosters and holidays for a 5-person team; day-to-day operations.
• Oversee onsite training and upkeep of records.
• Maintain health and safety on site.

MAN Commercial Protection are looking for a retail Security Supervisor located in Clacton-on-Sea.

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday day shift, 41 hours per week.

Main Responsibilities:

• Keeping all security records up to date, Liaising with Site operations manager (Client)
• Patrolling site and locking and unlocking site, Monitoring CCTV
• Communicating with all site clients
• Making decisions and working on own initiative
• Scheduling rosters and holidays/sick and the day-to-day operations of a 5-man team
• Dealing with all onsite training and upkeep of records.
• Maintaining health & safety on site
• Recording vehicles on the ANPR system
• Ensuring assignment instructions are followed & kept up to date
• Ensuring all staff permits are completed & incident reports are completed
• Downloading and recording of cctv footage
• All faults in the control room are reported and logged.
• Keyholders details are kept up to date per month
• Site health & safety check list is completed daily
• Dealing with complaints and investigations

The ideal candidate must have:
