Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee daily security operations, coordinate the team, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards at a major retail site. You will report to the Security Manager and drive effective incident response and client liaison.

Responsibilities include supervising security staff, conducting risk assessments, and managing CCTV/alarms systems, with a focus on swift, compliant incident escalation and continuous improvement of security

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the security team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Act as a point of contact for clients and management regarding security matters.
• Conduct regular security assessments and risk analyses to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
• Ensure correct escalation of incidents in line with the incident escalation process, maintaining accurate records.
• Oversee the operation of security systems, including CCTV, fire alarms, PA systems, VMS, Intruder/Panic Alarms, BMS, ANPR, radio, and phone systems.
• Implement emergency procedures in accordance with the Incident and Emergency Plan.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the security of the premises.
• Provide training and guidance to security personnel.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure comprehensive security coverage.
• Address operational issues promptly and find effective solutions.

About The Role:

Working Pattern

Week 1- Tuesday-Friday 09:00-17:00 Week 2- Monday-Thursday 14:00-22:00, Saturday and Sunday 09:00-17:00

As a Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the security team to ensure the safety and security of the site. Reporting to the Security Manager, you will coordinate security measures, supervise security personnel, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• You must have the right to work in the UK
• Experience in a supervisory role within the security industry
