Equans is looking for a Night Security Supervisor to join our team in London School of Economics, Glengall Road, Southwark, SE15 6NF on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 42 hours a week. On offer is a salary of £32,105.00 per annum and benefits package.

Shift Pattern:

Nights; 8pm-8am 4 on, 4 off

What will you deliver?

The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the security team and ensuring the safety, well-being, and security of all residents within the student accommodation building. This role requires strong leadership skills, a proactive approach to student safety, and an ability to provide first-class customer service. The Security Supervisor will act as a key point of contact for students, offering advice, support, and reassurance while ensuring security policies and procedures are followed.

Requirements

• Valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding/Door Supervisor).
• CCTV Licence (necessary for the role but we can support the candidate in obtaining).
• First Aid Certification (preferred).
• Experience in security supervision within a student, residential, or hospitality setting.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of public safety, security protocols, and emergency response procedures.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with an empathetic approach.
• Proficiency in relevant computer applications and reporting tools.
