Job summary

Corps Security is seeking a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Supervisor to oversee the security function on a client Premises. You will manage a security team, ensure adherence to duties and maintain a high level of professionalism and security presence.

You will work 42 hours per week on a 4 on 4 off rotation, with shifts 06:00-18:00. The role requires strong communication, leadership and incident response capabilities, and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
• A valid SIA Door Supervisor License - essential.
• Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good relationships at all levels.
• Ability to work to deadlines, multitask and work under pressure.
• Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Excel.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Able to achieve vetting to BS7858.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily security team operations, ensuring the team fulfil their tasks and adhere to policies.
• Monitor surveillance and alarm systems and respond to breaches/incidents promptly and escalate as needed.
• Lead, manage and develop direct reports with set objectives and performance reviews.
• Submit timely reports and performance documentation to appropriate departments.
• Monitor site staff and contractors, record method statements and risk assessments.
• Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services during incidents.
• Inspect security equipment to ensure proper functioning and upkeep.
• Investigate incidents and prepare comprehensive improvement reports.
• Ensure security measures are integrated across operations and events.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of your team and ensure all colleagues are adhering to their duties and maintaining a high level of professionalism and security presence.

What you will need:

What are you going to do:

• Supervise daily security team operations, ensuring the team are fulfilling all their daily tasks and adhering to Assignment Instructions and Corps Security policies.
• Monitor surveillance and alarm systems and respond to any security breaches/incidents in an efficient and timely manner – ensuring escalation processes are adhered to.
• To lead, manage and motivate direct reports including; goal setting, performance reviews, appraisals, coaching and development training, and monitor attendance/timekeeping.
• Prompt and accurate submission of all necessary reports and performance measurement documentation to the appropriate departments.
• To monitor all staff and contractor activities on the site including the ‘control of contractors’, recording of method statements and risk assessments.
• Liaise with law enforcement, emergency services, and relevant stakeholders during emergencies.
• Regularly inspect security equipment (e.g. CCTV, Access Control, Alarms) and ensure proper functioning and upkeep.
• Investigate any security incidents, accidents, and breaches, preparing comprehensive reports with improvement recommendations.
• Ensure effective communication across departments with integrating security measures into all operational factors, including events, facility management, and safety or all persons on site.
• Attainment of Corps Security KPI’s and assist with investigation of apparent non-conformance.
• Stay up to date with security trends, technologies, and regulations, providing recommendations for system and procedural improvements.
• Ad-hoc duties as and when required.
