We are seeking a professional, experienced, and highly motivated leader to oversee the delivery of security operations at a busy and high‑profile distribution centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, developing, and supporting the on‑site security team while ensuring full compliance with both Mitie and M&S policies, procedures, and service expectations.
This role requires an individual with excellent leadership skills, sound judgement, strong integrity, and a collaborative approach to management. The Site Security Manager will work closely with the Operations Manager and key client stakeholders, ensuring that security operations are delivered consistently, professionally, and in line with contractual requirements.
The successful candidate must be capable of managing priorities effectively, maintaining positive working relationships, and demonstrating accountability for all aspects of site security performance.
Previous experience in a Security Manager, Site Manager, Security Supervisor, or equivalent leadership role.
Strong people management and leadership skills with the ability to manage performance effectively.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrable experience working within established policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
Ability to build positive relationships whilst maintaining professional boundaries and accountability.
Strong decision‑making skills with the ability to recognise when matters require escalation or management approval.
High levels of integrity, professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and report writing.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a wider management structure and follow operational direction.
Valid Front Line SIA Licence.
Full UK Driving Licence.
