Job summary

4way Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Security Service and Small Works Engineer based near Stockport for a role delivering installation, service and commissioning of Access Control, CCTV and Intruder Alarm systems.

The successful engineer will have 5+ years' experience, hold a full UK driving licence, and be eligible for enhanced security screening, with on-call duties and a strong customer-service focus across commercial and residential sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience commissioning and servicing access control, CCTV and intruder alarm systems.
• Ability to work independently across multiple sectors (commercial, residential, public, retail).
• Strong fault-finding and system servicing skills.
• Full UK driving licence (clean licence preferred) and security screening eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and commission Access Control, CCTV and Intruder Alarm systems.
• Diagnose faults and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Service Access Control, CCTV and Intruder Alarm systems on-site.
• Provide excellent customer service on-site and over the phone.
• Participate in the on-call rota.
