Job summary

4Way Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Security Service Engineer to work on a company van, delivering a 36.5 hour week across Central London. The role covers intruder alarms, access control, CCTV and IP networks for diverse sites.

Salary ranges from £35,000 to £47,000 depending on experience, with standby payments and OT, plus travel time after the first 30 minutes each way.

Qualifications

• Must have a driving licence.
• Minimum 3 years' experience servicing security systems.
• Experience with installing and commissioning security systems desirable.
• Experience with IP based networks desirable.
• 18th Edition, NVQ, City & Guilds or BTEC desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan your own time and ensure every job is completed correctly.
• Work across commercial, industrial, residential, private and public sites.
• Service intruder alarms, access control, CCTV and IP based networks.
• Keep all work to high British Standards.

About Our Customer

A fire and security company with over 20 years in the industry is expanding and recruiting additional Security Service Engineers in Central London. The business supports commercial, private, public, residential and retail clients.

Salary and Benefits - Security Service Engineer

• Basic salary of £35,000 to £47,000 depending on experience
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
• Company van
• 36.5 hour working week
• Standby payment of £182 per week, on a call out rota of 1 week in 6
• Call outs paid at a flat rate for the first 4 hours, then time and a half
• Overtime paid at time and a half, and double time on Sundays
• Travel time paid after the first 30 minutes each way
