Job summary

AB Agri Ltd seeks a hands-on Security & Resilience Manager in Peterborough with hybrid working. You will lead the Security & Resilience team, providing expert guidance across infrastructure, applications, data, architecture and risk functions to strengthen security posture.

You'll oversee agile delivery, governance and assurance across projects and operational changes, delivering secure and resilient services at pace.

Responsibilities

• Lead and prioritise the Security & Resilience team's workload using agile practices.
• Run daily stand-ups and plan forward using SOC Level 3 support when needed.
• Provide weekly and monthly updates to senior stakeholders.
• Manage team performance, appraisals, mentoring and day‑to‑day support.
• Partner with security, infrastructure, engineering, data and business teams for secure outcomes.
• Assess, design and recommend security controls for hybrid Azure and AD environments.

Job Title:Security & Resilience Manager

Location: Peterborough (Hybrid)

Are you an experienced cyber security professional with a passion for strengthening security, resilience and risk management across a complex technology environment? Do you thrive on providing practical, expert advice that helps teams deliver secure and resilient services at pace?

ABF Business Technology Services are looking for a hands‑on Security & Resilience Manager to lead their Security & Resilience team. Working closely with infrastructure, applications, data, architecture, security operations and risk teams, you will provide technical leadership, assurance and governance across projects, operational change and strategic initiatives, helping to continuously improve our security posture.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead, prioritise and manage the Security & Resilience team’s workload through an agile, Kanban-driven approach, ensuring work is planned, allocated and delivered to a high standard, on time and within budget.
• Run daily team stand‑ups and manage forward planning, drawing on SOC Level 3 support where required.
• Provide weekly updates on progress, risks, issues and blockers to the Director of Security & Risk Management, alongside monthly updates for the Senior Leadership Team.
• Manage team performance, including annual appraisals, mentoring, development and day‑to‑day support for team members.
• Partner with security, infrastructure, engineering, architecture, data and business stakeholders to provide expert advice and achieve secure, resilient outcomes.
• Assess, design and recommend effective security controls across hybrid Azure and Active Directory environments.
