Job summary

Associated British Foods (ABF) BTS is seeking a hands-on Security & Resilience Manager to lead the Security & Resilience team. Based in Peterborough (Hybrid), you will provide technical leadership, assurance and governance across projects and operations, helping to strengthen the organisation’s security posture.

You will collaborate with infrastructure, applications and risk teams to design effective controls and drive improvements in identity security and cloud security.

Qualifications

• Experience in hybrid Azure and Active Directory environments.
• Experience advising on security controls in large, complex organisations.
• Understanding of ISO 27001, NIST, CIS frameworks.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust and cloud security concepts.
• Experience with risk-based security posture improvements.
• Ability to communicate complex security risks to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Security & Resilience team in an agile, Kanban-driven way.
• Run daily stand-ups and forward planning with SOC support as needed.
• Provide progress and risk updates to Director of Security & Risk Management and SLT.
• Manage performance, appraisals, mentoring and day-to-day support.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, engineering and data teams for secure outcomes.
• Assess and design security controls across hybrid Azure/AD environments.
• Lead security consultancy engagements and remediation planning.
• Support cloud security initiatives including IAM, Conditional Access and Zero Trust.
