Overview

We are looking for a friendly, customer service focused Security Receptionist/Concierge to join Corps Security. You will undertake a crucial role on site, delivering professional service, handling incidents with escalation procedures, and supporting security operations across relevant teams. The role is 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 12:00–19:00.

What you will need
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus
  • A valid SIA Front-Line License – essential
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels

  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel)
  • Ability to achieve vetting to BS7858 standards
What you will do
  • Maintain high standards of performance, professionalism, and customer service at all times
  • Comply with operational instructions (alarm responses, building access, production) and external regulations
  • Report and escalate issues following Chain of Command
  • Produce clear, logical, and timely operational reports
  • Be fully conversant with site systems and procedures
  • Support Corps Security and site management in service improvements
  • Build relationships with internal and external guests to enhance security
  • Understand changes in building occupiers, set up and productions, and communicate information appropriately
  • Maintain safety and security through operation of integrated systems
  • Liaise with supervisors, Corps Security management, and external authorities (including police) regarding building maintenance and H&S
  • Ensure all policies and procedures are followed
  • Provide immediate response to incidents (medical, fire alarm, evacuations, crisis)
  • Perform additional admin duties as required by Duty Security Managers, Supervisors, or clients
