Radley College is seeking a calm, reliable Security Porter to join our night team. You will patrol buildings and grounds, monitor CCTV and alarms, and manage access for visitors, contractors and deliveries.

The role requires a full driving licence and a current SIA licence. Previous security or customer-facing experience is advantageous, and the ability to work independently on night shifts across three patterns.

Responsabilidades

• Carrying out regular security patrols of College buildings and grounds.
• Monitoring CCTV, alarms and security systems, responding promptly to any concerns.
• Managing access to the site, including dealing professionally with visitors, contractors and deliveries.
• Responding to incidents and emergencies, taking appropriate action and escalating concerns when necessary.
• Identifying and reporting security, safety or maintenance issues.
• Providing a helpful and professional point of contact for pupils, staff and visitors during the night.
• Maintaining accurate logs and records and ensuring important information is handed over to colleagues.

Radley College is looking for a calm, reliable and professional Security Porter to join our night team, helping to provide a safe, secure and welcoming environment for our College community.

Working across our campus, your key responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out regular security patrols of College buildings and grounds.
• Monitoring CCTV, alarms and security systems, responding promptly to any concerns.
• Managing access to the site, including dealing professionally with visitors, contractors and deliveries.
• Responding to incidents and emergencies, taking appropriate action and escalating concerns when necessary.
• Identifying and reporting security, safety or maintenance issues.
• Providing a helpful and professional point of contact for pupils, staff and visitors during the night.
• Maintaining accurate logs and records and ensuring important information is handed over to colleagues.

You’ll need to be confident working independently, able to remain calm under pressure and have a friendly but appropriately firm approach. A full driving licence and current SIA licence are essential, and previous experience in security or a similar customer-facing environment would be an advantage.

We have three night-shift patterns available: 7pm-3am, 9pm-5am and 11pm-7am, working 197 days per year (excluding your own holiday entitlement).
