Job summary

Rapid7 is seeking an Associate Sales Engineer in Reading to serve as the foundational technical resource for Sales and Business Development. You will build foundational expertise in Rapid7's security platform, support early-stage sales activities, and develop communication skills to articulate the value of our solutions.

You will work with prospects and customers to demonstrate value, support initial technical questions, and create foundational content that helps drive the sales cycle forward.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Collaborate with sales, SDRs and peers to align on customer goals.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and communicate value of Rapid7 platform during sales cycle.
• Support early-stage opportunities with technical questions and demos.
• Contribute to RFIs/RFPs with standard product answers and docs.
• Develop technical content such as demonstration videos and solution briefs.
• Provide foundational product knowledge to SDRs and sales teams.
• Assist inbound chat queries with technical guidance.
