Job summary

Head Resourcing is partnering with a global organisation to recruit a Security Operations Team Lead to oversee a busy cybersecurity function in Glasgow. This hands-on leadership role combines people management with technical ownership across security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, compliance, and security tooling.

The role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days onsite at Glasgow. You will lead a small SOC team, act as senior escalation for incidents, drive projects, and partner

Qualifications

• Experience leading Security Operations, SOC, or Cyber Security teams.
• Strong hands-on Security Operations background.
• Knowledge of ISO27001, Cyber Essentials Plus, NIS2 and SOX.
• Experience with Palo Alto, Cortex XDR and enterprise security tooling.
• Strong Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Active Directory experience.
• Azure and/or AWS security knowledge.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
