I've partnered with a growing UK bank, and we're seeking a Security Operations Manager (VM) to join their team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about ensuring critical infrastructure remains secure, resilient, and proactive against threats.

You will lead initiatives in vulnerability management, disaster recovery, SOC performance, and contribute to the cyber resilience strategy of the business.

Role responsibilities:

• Oversee infrastructure security and resilience across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Manage a team of Security Analysts.
• Own and develop the vulnerability management program (experience with Tenable is a plus).
• Develop and implement a roadmap for obsolescence management aligned with IT budgets and strategies.
• Serve as a key escalation point for security incidents and SOC performance issues.
• Create disaster recovery plans and coordinate with cross-functional teams and third-party partners.

What you need:

• Extensive experience in Cyber Security and Infrastructure, particularly with SOC providers.
• Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools like Tenable.
• Experience managing hardware/software/cloud lifecycle and end-of-life processes.
• Proven leadership in managing technical engineering teams.
• Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure.
• Hybrid working model (1 day in the office per week).
