Babcock International is hiring a Security Operations Manager at Ashchurch, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. You will lead a high-performing security function at a secure facility, overseeing physical, personnel and contract security while building trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders.

You will manage a multidisciplinary team, influence national security-related operations, and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations.

Qualifications

• Experience operating within security, defence, government or similarly regulated environments.
• Experience building trusted relationships with strategic customers and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Experience leading and managing multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Direct people management experience alongside leadership within a matrix organisation.
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of contract and business management principles.

Responsibilities

• Leading the delivery of physical, personnel and contract security operations across the site.
• Managing a team of security professionals, providing leadership, direction and operational oversight.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with strategic customers and key stakeholders.
• Supporting high-priority business and facilities projects by providing security expertise and guidance.
• Ensuring the site maintains the standards required to meet contractual, regulatory and government security obligations.
