We are seeking a Security Operations Engineer to design, implement, and maintain advanced threat detection solutions. You will collaborate with TechOps/IT teams and various engineering squads across Yokoy and TravelPerk to ensure security measures are effective and comprehensive across our products and enterprise infrastructure. What You’ll Do

• Enhance threat detection and response by developing and optimizing security tools and mechanisms.
• Develop and tune detection rules, signatures, and IOCs across security platforms.
• Stay current with industry trends and improve security strategies and technologies.
• Secure SaaS applications and infrastructure through best practices and continuous monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with frameworks like ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS by developing governance and controls.
• Collaborate with teams to improve security posture through advisory and expertise sharing.
• Implement and maintain cloud security technologies across AWS and GCP environments.
• Advance threat hunting, incident response, and automation efforts.

What You’ll Need

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Security Operations Engineer, especially in threat detection within a SOC or similar setting.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Python) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Pulumi).
• Strong understanding of networking, cybersecurity frameworks, and attack vectors.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
