Responsibilities of a Security Operations Consultant

• Support the growth of SOC capabilities for clients
• Implement and manage security tools within the SOC environment, considering both immediate requirements and long-term strategic plans
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate threat intelligence feeds, playbooks, and response workflows into SOC operations
• Conduct SOC readiness assessments, identify gaps, and propose next steps

Requirements of a Security Operations Consultant

• Must have active SC clearance
• 3+ years experience in Cyber Security Operations roles
• Solid understanding of SOC best practices and relevant regulations
• Experience deploying, configuring, and managing security tools within SOC environments (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
