Responsibilities of a Security Operations Consultant

1. Support the growth of SOC capabilities for clients
2. Implement and manage security tools within the SOC environment, considering both immediate requirements and long-term strategic plans
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate threat intelligence feeds, playbooks, and response workflows into SOC operations
4. Conduct SOC readiness assessments, identify gaps, and propose next steps

Requirements of a Security Operations Consultant

1. Must have active SC clearance
2. 3+ years of experience in Cyber Security Operations or related roles
3. Solid understanding of SOC best practices and relevant regulations
4. Experience deploying, configuring, and managing security tools within SOC environments (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, etc.)
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
