Job summary

Searchability NS&D is seeking a Security Operations Architect in the UK to design and mature Next-Gen Detection and Response capabilities for a diverse client base. You will bridge strategy and technical blueprints, guiding engineers through build cycles and evaluating new tooling to keep the firm at the cutting edge of threat investigation.

The role requires strong design experience, TOGAF familiarity, and hands-on SIEM/SOAR and EDR/XDR/NDR tooling, with experience in Agile/DevOps delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong background in security operations design and development.
• Experience with architecture frameworks (TOGAF) and producing high-level and low-level designs (HLD/LLD).
• Hands-on expertise with SIEM and SOAR tooling (Google SecOps or similar).
• Proficient with EDR, XDR and NDR tooling (CrowdStrike, Defender).
• Experience delivering in Agile/DevOps or Kanban environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and continuously improve Next-Gen Detection and Response capabilities for a diverse client base.
• Bridge strategy and technical blueprints and guide engineers through build phases.
• Research and evaluate new tooling to keep the firm at the cutting edge of threat investigation and response.
