Job summary

Searchability is seeking a Security Operations Architect for London/Manchester, offering a hybrid role with 3 days onsite and a salary up to £75,000 depending on experience.

You will lead the design and continuous improvement of Next-Gen detection and response capabilities for a diverse client base, bridging strategy with engineering and guiding teams through build phases.

Essential skills include TOGAF, SIEM/SOAR, EDR/XDR/NDR, and Agile/DevOps delivery; active SC clearance or higher is required.

Qualifications

• Strong background in solution design and development for security operations.
• Experience with Architecture Frameworks (TOGAF) and developing high-level and low-level designs (HLD/LLD).
• Technical expertise with SIEM and SOAR tooling (Google SecOps or similar).
• Proficiency with EDR, XDR, and NDR tools (CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender).
• Experience in Agile, DevOps, or Kanban delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Design and continuously improve Next-Gen Detection and Response capabilities for multiple clients.
• Bridge high-level strategy and technical blueprints; guide engineers through build processes.
• Research and evaluate new tooling to keep the firm at the cutting edge of threat investigation and response.

You will bridge the gap between high-level strategy and technical blueprints, guiding engineers through the build process.
