Anabas (UK 2) Ltd is seeking a Security Officer for a corporate office environment in Central London. The role requires night shifts, with overtime occasionally for daytime coverage, and a permanent, full-time contract.

You will patrol, respond to security incidents, assist in evacuations, and maintain a welcoming, secure environment. Strong communication and IT literacy are essential, including CCTV and door access software, with a valid SIA licence required.

Security Officer - Corporate Office Environment (Central London)

Hours: Full-Time | Monday to Wednesday, 18:00-06:00. Overtime available for additional night shifts and daytime cover when required.

Salary: £14.80 per hour
Contract Type: Permanent

The candidate must be flexible and able to work nights, with the ability to cover occasional daytime shifts when required. They should have a good attitude, communicate well, be adaptable and willing to learn.

What You'll Be Doing

As a key member of the on-site Security Team, you will:

• Patrol and safeguard the entire premises, ensuring the safety of staff, visitors, contractors, and company assets
• Respond swiftly and effectively to any incidents, emergencies, or security breaches
• Assist in the coordination and safe evacuation of personnel during emergencies
• Promote and maintain a secure and welcoming environment for all building users
• Support Health & Safety objectives and assist with first aid or in aiding trained First Aider's.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues and site teams to uphold the highest security standards
• Working in a control room environment is an essential part of the role

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a proactive and professional individual who can demonstrate:

• Previous experience in a corporate security role (ideally in a front-facing environment)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• IT literacy is an essential element as will need to work on door access software and CCTV
• The ability to remain calm under pressure and act decisively during incidents
• A team-oriented approach and commitment to providing excellent service
• Valid SIA licence (required)
