Job summary

Dovetail & Slate Ltd is recruiting a Security Officer for a further education provider in the West Midlands. You will help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for learners, staff and visitors, with a visible presence throughout the day.

Your duties include patrolling the premises, monitoring access, responding to incidents and reporting concerns to colleagues. You will support safe movement during busy periods and keep clear security records and logs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a security or similar role.
• Experience of working in an education setting (desirable).
• SIA licence desirable.
