Job summary

JD GROUP is seeking a Security Officer to support the Supervisor and help maintain a safe working environment, preventing loss or damage to company property. As a Security Officer, you will patrol the site, enforce policies, screen staff, and ensure vehicles and equipment are properly logged and sealed on arrival and departure.

You will be professional, calm under pressure, and a team player who communicates clearly.

Qualifications

• Experience of working to health and safety requirements.
• Basic computer literacy skills.
• Able to work under pressure in a busy environment.
• Works well as part of a team; supportive of others.
• Communicates effectively.
• Respond to issues quickly, positively in a fast paced and changing environment.
• Experience of working in the security industry – Desirable.
• Knowledge of common law powers in relation to detaining potential offenders – Desirable.
