Job summary

Qube Recruitment is seeking a professional Security Officer for a full-time role in Basingstoke. You will patrol the site, monitor access points, and maintain a visible security presence on a 4 on 4 off pattern, with 40–44 hours weekly.

The role requires an SIA Door Supervisor licence, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. CCTV experience is a plus, and uniform is provided.

Security Officer - Basingstoke - £14.20ph - 4 on 4 off - 40-44 hrs per week.

We are currently recruiting for a professional and reliable Security Officer to join our team in Basingstoke.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced security professional looking for a stable, full-time role working late shifts on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular patrols of the site
• Monitor access and egress points
• Maintain a visible security presence
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a professional manner
• Complete accurate incident and shift reports
• Ensure site policies and procedures are followed
• Deliver excellent customer service to staff, visitors and contractors

Essential Requirements:

• Valid SIA Door Supervisor (DS) Licence (minimum requirement)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good report-writing and IT skills

Desirable:

• CCTV Licence and experience would be a distinct advantage
• Previous experience in a similar security role
