Job summary

Securitas UK in Chipping Norton is seeking a Security Officer to protect people, property and assets while delivering exceptional customer service. You’ll work in line with site procedures and customer requirements, maintaining a safe and secure environment with integrity, vigilance and professionalism.

The role includes internal and external patrols, CCTV monitoring, access control, visitor passes, managing keys, logging, and incident response.

Qualifications

• A valid SIA licence.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history.
• Reliable and trustworthy.
• Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
• Strong communication skills in English—written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site. Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate.
• Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Instructions.
• Carry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate.
• Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed.
• Maintain all logbooks and records as detailed.
• Issue visitor passes and support staff, visitors, and contractors while safeguarding premises.
