Job summary

Northern Security Ltd. is seeking a Security Officer to join our team in the Workington area. The role is part-time, 25 hours per week, with shifts from 4pm to 9pm, Monday to Friday.

You will be the face of our security presence, ensuring the safety of staff, customers and property. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, self-motivation and a vigilant attitude. Full training will be provided, and benefits include a pension, uniform and long service awards.

Job description

Hours: 4pm - 9pm

We are seeking to recruit a Security Officer in the Workington area, with great communication skills and self motivation. In this role, you will be the face of our security presence, ensuring the safety of staff, customers, and property.

Salary: £15.00 per hour

Contract: Part Time (25 hours)

Days: Mon - Fri

Hours: 4pm - 9pm

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to

• Providing an onsite professional security presence
• Providing a deterrent to criminal activity, theft and antisocial behaviour
• Provide protection for customers, property and staff
• Internal and external site patrols
• Open and lock ups, site patrols and visual checks in the surrounding area and response to alarm calls.
• Concierge duties

• Be able to provide 5 year checkable history to complete BS7858 vetting and screening
