Job summary

Warehousing Solutions Ltd is seeking multiple full-time security officers to start at Luton Airport. This is a permanent role offering day, night and weekend shifts.

You may choose to work days or nights plus weekends. Day shifts are 8 am–6 pm or 8 am–8 pm at £19.50 per hour; night shifts 8 pm–8 am at £22.50 per hour; weekends and overtime paid at £25.50 per hour. Weekly pay every Friday; 45–60 hours per week guaranteed.

Qualifications

• Observational skills to notice threats or suspicious activity.
• Clear and effective communication for reporting and interacting with others.
• Ability to quickly assess situations and make sound decisions.
• De-escalation and conflict resolution to handle tense situations.
• Familiarity with security equipment and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling and securing buildings, perimeters and access points.
• Monitoring CCTV and other surveillance systems for threats.
• Controlling access by checking IDs and logging entries/exits.
• Responding to alarms and incidents and taking appropriate action.
• Enforcing security policies and procedures and resolving disturbances.
• Reporting and documenting incidents and irregularities to relevant personnel.

Job description

We are looking for a number of full time security officers to start at Luton Airport .

Night shifts 8 pm till 8 am paying £22.50 hour

We pay weekly every Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrolling and Securing: Regularly inspecting buildings, perimeters, and access points to ensure they are secure and free from hazards.
• Monitoring Surveillance Systems: Observing CCTV cameras and other security systems to identify and respond to potential threats or unusual activity.
• Controlling Access: Checking identification, logging entries and exits, and regulating access to restricted areas.
• Responding to Incidents: Investigating alarms, handling emergencies, and taking appropriate action to address safety or security concerns.
• Enforcing Regulations: Ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures, and resolving conflicts or disturbances.
• Reporting and Documentation: Maintaining logs, writing incident reports, and communicating any irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
