Job summary

Warehousing Solutions Ltd is seeking a number of full-time security officers to start at Stansted Airport this month and next. Permanent roles with day, night and weekend shifts are available along with bonuses.

You can choose to work days or nights+weekends. Day shifts 8am-6pm or 8am-8pm pay £19.50 per hour; night shifts 8pm-8am £22.50 per hour; weekends/overtime £25.50 per hour. Weekly pay every Friday. 45-60 hours per week guaranteed.

Qualifications

• Observational skills to spot potential threats or suspicious activity.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication for reporting.
• Ability to assess situations quickly and make sound decisions.
• De-escalation of tense situations and peaceful resolutions.
• Familiarity with security equipment and basic computer applications.
• Ability to patrol, stand for long periods and handle physical situations.
• Maintaining a calm, courteous, and reassuring presence.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling buildings, perimeters and access points to ensure security.
• Monitoring CCTV and other security systems to identify threats.
• Checking IDs, logging entries/exits and restricting access to restricted areas.
• Investigating alarms, addressing emergencies and taking appropriate action.
• Enforcing security policies and resolving disturbances.
• Maintaining logs and reporting irregularities to relevant personnel.

Night shifts 8 pm till 8 am paying £22.50 hour

Weekends and overtime paid at £25.50 hour

We pay weekly every Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrolling and Securing: Regularly inspecting buildings, perimeters, and access points to ensure they are secure and free from hazards.
• Monitoring Surveillance Systems: Observing CCTV cameras and other security systems to identify and respond to potential threats or unusual activity.
• Controlling Access: Checking identification, logging entries and exits, and regulating access to restricted areas.
• Responding to Incidents: Investigating alarms, handling emergencies, and taking appropriate action to address safety or security concerns.
• Enforcing Regulations: Ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures, and resolving conflicts or disturbances.
• Reporting and Documentation: Maintaining logs, writing incident reports, and communicating any irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
