Job summary

Hollybank Trustees Ltd in Kendal and Ambleside is seeking a Security Officer to join the on-site team. The role requires the ability to work independently, stay calm under pressure and be flexible with shift patterns.

A valid UK driving licence is required. We offer full training, 28 days holiday (pro rata), a contributory pension and full uniform. Shifts include days, nights and weekends. BS7858 vetting and screening will be completed.

• First Aid trained.
• Flexible for work shifts.

• Responding to Fire Alarm activations
• Providing an onsite professional security presence

We currently have a vacancy for a Security Officer based in and around Kendal and Ambleside. Having the ability to work independently and well under pressure, a flexible attitude to shift work is something we value highly.

Due to the location of site, and the need to occasionally use an onsite vehicle, applicants must hold a valid UK driving licence.

Job Description

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to –

• Student Support

Applicants must be:

• First Aid trained
• Smart and presentable
• Polite and approachable
• Professional and able to make decisions on their own accord
• Vigilant for anything out of the ordinary
• Punctual & reliable
• Be flexible for work shifts
• Be able to provide 5 year checkable history to complete BS7858 vetting and screening
