Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Security Officer to protect people and assets at a busy client site in Snodland. You will patrol, monitor access, respond to incidents, and provide a professional service to staff and visitors.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid SIA licence, be able to obtain BS7858 vetting, have security experience, and demonstrate strong communication and customer service skills in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Right to Work in the UK and ability to pass BS7858 vetting.
• Valid SIA Licence.
• Previous experience in a security role.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the safety and security of buildings, personnel, and visitors across the site.
• Act as a first point of contact, providing a professional, friendly and helpful service.
• Monitor fire, security and building management systems, responding appropriately to incidents.
• Support a safe working environment by following Health & Safety policies and reporting hazards, damage, or defects.
• Control access points, barriers, and support traffic management across the site.
• Carry out regular patrols and ensure security procedures are consistently followed.
