Job summary

Carlisle Support Services is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team, working with prestigious clients across the UK. Full training and ongoing support will be provided to help you succeed in your security duties.

Location: Eastham, CH65 1AF. Hours: 5 on, 4 off—days and nights. Pay: £13.47 per hour. A driving licence is required due to the use of a company vehicle in patrols, and you will be part of a team delivering professional security services.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old – legal requirement to work in front-line licensable activity.
• SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence is required.
• Full UK manual driving licence held for 2+ years with 6 points or less.
• 5 years checkable work and address history.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional appearance.
• Friendly, approachable, and motivated to do a great job.
• Experience in security or customer-facing role is a plus.
• Ability to interact positively with clients and customers.
• Must provide original documentation for screening and vetting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure colleague safety and provide a sense of assurance.
• Drive to other sites using company vehicle for checks.
• Provide a smart, visible, proactive security presence.
• Effectively manage conflicts and incidents.
• Control access and patrol to deter crime.
• Interact with the public in a proactive, professional manner.
• Respond to hazards and incidents appropriately.
• Provide guidance and direct customers as first point of contact.

Education

The ideal candidate

• At least 18 years old – a legal requirement to work in a front-line licensable activity

• Ideally some experience within a Security environment or a customer facing role
• Able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner
• Some experience working within a Security environment and working as part of a team
• Effective people skills, able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner
• Successful candidates will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes.
• This could include the following: passport / driving licence / utility bill dated in the last 3 months / HMRC letter / original bank statement / original payslip / birth certificate / a valid share code.
