Job summary

Anchor Group Services is seeking a Security Officer for The Marlands Shopping Centre in Southampton. The role involves 4 on/off shifts from 10:15 to 22:15, totaling about 42 hours per week. A valid SIA licence is required, with CCTV experience preferred.

You will patrol, monitor activity and report incidents to ensure a safe environment for visitors and staff. Excellent customer service and communication are essential as you will engage with the public, respond to incidents, and maintain

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and confidence to handle conflict.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Valid frontline SIA licences DS or SG must be held.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols and monitor activity to ensure safety.
• Respond to incidents promptly and liaise with the public and management.
• Maintain records in line with procedures and report observations.
• Operate and monitor CCTV equipment as required.
• Provide a professional and friendly service to visitors and staff.
