Magenta Security Services seeks a professional Security Officer for a full-time post in Central London, with day and night shifts on a rota basis at Lower Thames Street.

Responsibilities include manned guarding, access/egress control, site patrols, health and safety checks, concise report writing, and prompt response to incidents. The ideal candidate is licensed (SIA DS), UK-resident for 5 years, and able to work flexibly in a team or independently.

• Dealing with First Aid situations as/when they arise.
• Client and staff interactions with high service levels.
• Handle enquiries and report site issues.
• Perform other reasonable security duties as required.

Security officer - Central London (Days & Night Shifts)

Shift Patterns: Working Monday to Sundays on rota basis. Ability to work both day and night shifts across various shift patterns, providing flexibility to fit in with the existing shift requirements. Average hours per week – Various.

Job Overview

An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for an experienced Security Officer to join our team at a site in Lower Thames Street, Central London.

This is a full-time role.

Holiday and sickness cover may be required therefore all interested applicants need to be fully flexible in their approach and attitude.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Security Manned Guarding Services.
• Access/Egress Control Duties.
• Regular/Irregular Site Inspection Patrols of the Assignment.
• Performing regular Health and Safety checks.
• Regular and accurate report writing.
• Dealing with First Aid situations as/when they arise.
• Proactive interaction with the client & their staff, visitors to the site as well as contractors; ensuring that superb customer service is always provided.
• Dealing with enquiries and reporting any issues on site.
• Covering all required security related duties as/when required.
• Carrying out any other reasonable management requests.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

• Essential - SIA DS License
• Essential - 5, Year UK Residency
• Must have a 5-year checkable work or back to school history.
• Proof of right to work and live in the UK.

Brief calibre of Person required:

• Very smart with an excellent command of the English language
• Able to work as part of a Team and also on own.
• Ability to think ‘Outside the Box’ – when applicable.
• Flexible and willing to learn new procedures.

Successful applicant will be required to undergo Home Office SC Clearance to work at this site.
