Job summary

Bestway Healthcare, via Lexon, is seeking a Security Officer at our Leeds Distribution Depot. You will patrol, control access, and maintain security logs to protect staff, premises and stock.

The role requires a valid SIA license, CCTV knowledge, and strong communication. You will work on a two-shift pattern (early and late) and support health and safety compliance.

We offer a permanent full-time position with 40 hours per week, £15 per hour, and a supportive team in a growing business.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid SIA license and security experience.
• Experience with CCTV, intruder alarms and security equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; team player.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Control access to the premises using CCTV and access control systems.
• Conduct regular patrols and maintain a visible security presence.
• Maintain logs and evidence for investigations.
• Assist with internal investigations and gathering of evidence.
• Record searches and security-related documentation.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies; coordinate with services.
• Support opening/closing procedures and perimeter security.
