Job summary

Corps Security in Leeds is seeking a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Officer to provide safe access control and on-site patrols. You will conduct site inductions, control entry, and respond to incidents following escalation procedures with site management and emergency services.

You will work 42.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri 05:00-13:30, with duties including patrols, visitor briefing, and paperwork processing.

Qualifications

Valid SIA Front-Line License is essential.
Desirable CCTV license enhances eligibility.
Excellent communication and customer-service focus required.
Strong IT skills, including MS Excel, and good multitasking ability.
Ability to work to deadlines and build relationships at all levels.

Responsibilities

Maintain overall surveillance of the site with regular patrols and record-keeping.
Brief visitors/contractors, sign-in/out, and process site paperwork per procedures.
Manage entry/exit of deliveries, ensuring accuracy with site procedures.
Set and unset alarm systems for out-of-hours security provision if required.
Follow risk assessments and quality/safety documents; inform management of changes.
Maintain training records and keep first aid/fire marshal training up to date.
Display SIA license at all times and perform ad-hoc duties as directed.
